PBTI have announced the appointment of William Fox as Managing Director of the company with effect from July 1st 2011

Peter Thompson, who formed the company in 1985, as a supplier of toner based products to International OEM companies, will remain Chairman of the Board.

William is a former employee of PBTI, having worked for the company from 1996 to 2001 when he left to join the MITIE Group, now a £2billion conglomerate. Until rejoining PBTI, William was Treasurer of the MITIE Group and has played a key role in the expansion of Mitie through multiple acquisitions.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Thompson paid tribute to William's astuteness and the in-depth knowledge of PBTI he has retained in the period from 2001 to present. "We have enjoyed three years of good growth and are poised to continue to build upon that base and take the company forward, with a strong focus on the UK Trade Sales market."

PBT International Ltd is the UKs largest independent Replacement Toner Cartridge producer, specialising in colour laser printer cartridges. Unique technology, developed in PBTI laboratories near Wells, Somerset, has kept PBTI competitive with products from the Far East and Eastern Europe and has enabled the company to successfully export its products to Distributors and other remanufacturing companies in Continental Europe and the USA. Exports represent almost 50% of the company sales.
