PBT International Ltd was founded in the UK in 1984 and was led by toner chemists, toner physicists and toner production engineers. This foundation has given the company an exceptionally good understanding of toner behaviour in printer cartridges.

PBTI has previously trained and licensed leading companies in Japan, USA and India in cartridge production and insertion seal technology.

PBTI is based near Wells, Western England, 25 minutes from Bristol International Airport. It occupies a modern 4 acre site, dedicated to the development, production and sales of toner based printer cartridges.

Our customer base comprises non-UK based international distribution companies (35% of sales), our dealer brand Xinia (50% of sales) and other remanufacturer/export dealers (15% of sales).

Since 2004, PBTI has focused laboratory efforts on Colour Cartridge
Technology and is now a leader in the European remanufacturing industry with colour cartridge production now exceeding 50% of output. PBTI has applied for a patent specific to colour cartridge technology and has developed proprietary methods for compatible colour cartridge production which reduce production time to achieve enhanced competitiveness/profitability and additionally and very importantly, improved field performance and reliability.
